How to make your Campground Reservations
(Please read this page thoroughly)

Pontchartrain Landing RV Park has 7 "Levels" of available RV sites: Standard, Standard Buddy, Pull-thru, Deluxe, Premium, Super Site and Presidential.  The lowest priced sites are "Standard" and the highest are "Presidential".  Note that some sites in same level may be pull-thrus and some back-ins.  Also available are a very limited number of Villas and Bungalows.

Special Rates: Your hosts have negotiated with the park for ALL LEVELS of sites to be offered to our 2017 Grand National attendees for the same special rally rate of $39 (+tax and fees). The special rate is available to you for one week prior to and one week after the GN rally.  This is a phenomenal rate for a quality park in a hot tourist area (the park's normal site rates run between $59 and $157). Villas and Bungalows are available (using your special code) at 20% off regular rates.  See separate rate sheets for details.

Getting your camp site or Villa/Bungalow registration code: Shortly after your full registration fee is received by the rally Treasurer you will be emailed a “unique to you” registration code to give to the park when you call to make your campsite or Villa/Bungalow reservations.  You must have this number to receive the special rates.

The number of "preferred" sites is very limited, so call the park at 504-286-8157 as soon as you pay your rally fee and receive your "unique to you" reservation code.  "Kristi" has been assigned to handle our reservations.  Be sure to ask for her and then give her your name, code number, and your preference of site type.  She will request your rig type and size, and then she will assist you in selecting from the available remaining sites.  Sites will be available on a "first call, first get" basis.  The special $39 rate will not be given without your unique reservation code.  You will be asked to make only a one night deposit for your site at this time.   Sites must be paid in full by Sept 1st, 2017 or your reservation will be cancelled with no refund.  The same process applies to those reserving Villas or Bungalows.

What is a "Preferred" site?  “Preferred” is different for each member.  i.e. --> One couple may prefer a water front site, another might prefer a large pull-thru site.  A third may be happy with a small back-in site as long as it is close to the building where the activities are being held . . .  and a 4th might prefer to park with a group of friends over in the new section where the “buddy” sites are.  Members with motor homes might prefer one of the few water front sites that have hookups "plumbed" on the side of the site that provide a water front view for motor homes.

A full list of park amenities can be seen
Here.

If you have a motor home, an exceptionally large rig/truck combination, or have limited mobility and desire a "close up" site, you are encouraged to sign up for the rally and reserve your desired site ASAP.  Remember, choice of sites will be available on a "first call, first get" basis and you MUST have your unique code to book any site and receive the discounted rate..

The park has a brand new section with configurations that support "buddy" parking.  Check out the lower left hand corner of the Pontchartrain Landing Site Map to view these sites.  If your chapter or group of friends wish to be together in this (or any other) area you are advised to pay your rally fees and then book with the campground as close to the same time as possible.

To assist with your site selection it is suggested that you either print the Pontchartrain Landing Site Map or have it open on your computer screen when you call to make your reservations.
